Welcome back everybody. Welcome back to my blog. And O what a day it's been!!! My first day of classes at university. And, i have a crap day. O, what a coincidence. LOL Now don't get me wrong, it wasnt the university....ok, well it wasnt all the university. let me start on my day:
I wake up, having only 4 hours sleep. I stumble out of bed headfirst into the floor. Oww. I have a small breakfast. Then its off on the road to work. Now, it must of been the lack of sleep, but i was just 'subconsciously' following the random car that was driving in front of me. Ofcourse, he turned onto the freeway... Towards Brisbane!!! And i f**King followed him, for some reason. It took me a second to realise that ofcourse, i was driving in THE COMPLETE oposite direction to uni. SO after a random offramp into yatala, and a random bridge accross, 20 minutes later, i was finally heading towards uni. I was mellow, a bit annoyed at this point, but alright.
I get to uni, first class (ever) is Image and Photography. Now keep in mind, Image and Photography is the only class i chose which isnt directly related to Film and Television. SO i arrive, and it turns out, the class is REALLy for people who are SUPER hardcore about Photography. Im talking people who have built their own RED ROOM's in their basements to develop photos. Yes, those people. now don't get me wrong, photography is cool, but its just not my thing.
So, im thinking ill make some new friends while im here, but then suddenly, the class is split in two. The film majors (including me) and all the other majors (business and art). Well, since the film majors lecure had been moved from 9:00 am to the afternoon, the same time I HAVE WORK, im made to stay behind in the business and art majors class. and these people WONT talk to me. I dont know why, maybe cause im a film student. So now, im unable to make friends, and im stuck in a lecture about a subject i dont like.
So id heard u could swap subjects, and i go to the head of department to swap. And all that happens is i get shot down in flames, where he basically tells me to suck it up and stop whinging. Yep, thats right.
So now im having an even shittier day, and after a near-life changing crash on the way to work, i finally arrive at work.. to get SHOT down by Roman the boss, after he AGAIN gives me shit and just makes me the blame for every f**cking problem. I swear to god, im an gunna leave that place as soon as i get another job, in a heartbeat!! f**king hell
And then to make matters worse, a poor bird flew into my windscreen on the way home, the poor thing...
So yea, its been a really crap day, but there has been some really good news lately. I booked some tickets down to Melbourne to see my two besties, and i can't wait to see them. Apart from that, im excited about the rest of my week at uni, because im really hoping to make some permanent friends soon. Im sure i will soon.
